Not that I am aware of -
But here is a possibility. There were telephone books back then. However, the
drawback is that not many people could afford that luxury, most of the
listings were businesses. But it is worth a try.
The Suffolk County Library System owns telephone books for L.I. (including
very early ones for Queens) from 1909 thru 1965. The earlier ones are on
microfilm, the others in book form.
If you live in Suffolk County, go to your local library & order it from the
reference desk. They will call SCLS headquarters where they are kept & it
will be sent to your library & kept there while you use it. For some years
they only own one copy & will not send that, but will do a lookup.
If you do not live in Suffolk County, two places that should have it are -
NYPL in Manhattan & Queensborough Public Library in Queens.
If you would to see a sample of an early phone book, I have transcribed
several areas (including Greenlawn) of L.I. for 1909 & 1912 - minus the phone
nubers. There is only so much typing I can do !!
