I live in Greenport N.Y. and am a local amature historian. I know of the book Greenport yesterday and today the diary of a local newspaper. and the artical about the conklin mansion. I belieave that that property is now the site of the San Simeon Nursing home on rt.48 on the south side of the highway just east of chapel lane. the coklins had a famus race horse called Rorus. I have a picture from an old newspaper of it.If i could be of help just e-mail me Carlos
