Here is the chance to give something back to this great hobby. We have about 50 volunteers already but we need more. The project is underway and we have about 50,000 records entered already. We need more help. Below is a message I have posted previously.

To All:
We are once again looking for volunteers. My good friend, John Martino, along with numerous other volunteers are looking for additional help. NARA has asked our help in computerizing their records for naturalization for the SE District which includes Manhattan and the Bronx. These records are on cards (some typewritten) and we are to type the info into an index in Excel (Word, Works etc can be used). The years we will be indexing start in 1906 and we may go up to 1950. There could be over 1,000,000 of these cards so we can use all the help we can. If you live in Nassau, Suffolk or any of the 5 boros and you are semi capable on a computer, we need you. The work can be performed at home. If you are interested, please contact me at for specific details. Thank you.
