On 8/4/02 (1:27:39 PM EDT), in a Message Board Post that was gatewayed to the list, "" asked,

"I also need to obtain a copy of a death certificate, for my great-grandfather's 2nd wife. Her obituary states she died at her residence on Seville Blvd. in Sayville. Who best to contact for a copy of her death certificate? Thanks! Your responses are always so helpful for us out of state people!"


Sayville, as is Islip, is a hamlet (an unincorporated community) in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County. Which means you would first want to contact the town clerk for the Town of Islip.
