I'm looking for any info on Amy Foster, parents were Elizabeth and Fredrich Foster, from Brooklyn area, all we know is she is one of nine siblings, and was either taken from her home or sent away, only listing of any Amy Fosters was in Suffolk County. Was there a mental hospital or hospital for unwed mothers in that area around the early to mid 1900's? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
