Thank you for you reply. I can't believe that I left out the dates and full name, I sent a lot of messages and got careless. My 2nd Greatgranfathers name is James A Hempstead, dob 1845 and dod 1924. His wifes name is Jennie S Hopper, dob 05/11/1855 and dod 05/12/1923. They are buried in Trinity St Johns cemetary in Hewlett, LI NY (Nassau County). I have been able to locate my direct line from James to the present day. Most of my family is buried in Greenfield Cemetary in Hempstead. I will look into the lead you gave me, thanks again.
