I'm looking for information on a William Puetz. According to the Social Security Death Index, his last known address is West Islip, NY. This is different than his last payment to Brooklyn, NY. William was born in 1902 and died in April 1978. I am looking for information on family members who may still be in the area in addition to a obtaining his obituary (as I live in New Hampshire, it's hard to get to Suffolk County libraries).

I am hoping to prove or disprove my theory that he is the son of William and Lena (Klages) Puetz. If he is the son, then he should have had at least two children, Donald and Dorothy Puetz.

I am also willing to share what information I do have on this Puetz/Putz family.
