This cemetery can be found on LDS microfilm #0017925 "Suffolk County
Cemeteries" edited by Alice H. Meigs.
There is a problem with this filming, since the filmer seems to have skipped
the "break" page and data from Cedar Hill in Port Jefferson is tagged on to
Smithtown & there is no break listed. I worked w/ a few people on another
Long Island list and we indentified the exact break between the Smithtown
list and the Port Jefferson list.
The data is available on line for Smithtown to ca. 1935 on another
genealogical site.
Meigs worked in the mid 30's. She usually gives a date for her survey. 1934,
1937, etc. Obviously, nobody buried since ca. 1935 is on these lists.

> I believe the cemetery you are referring to is the Smithtown Cemetery -
just north of the intersection of Rte 111 & Rte 25. I am not sure whether is
is affliated with the church at that intersection. You might try the
Smithtown Historical Society at www.smithtownhistorical.org - they are
located a few doors down from the cemetery - maybe they can give you some
guidance.
