I found my gg-grandparents and 2 of their children listed on the LDS site.
What I found was the name of the town they came from in denmark,
Frederikshavn, hjorring, denmark and I found Dora Esterbys birthdate, April
21, 1885. I searched the SSDI using her first name and birthdate and only 2
showed up in the whole US. After more searching I dont think either one of
them is my Dora. I also found that my gg-grandmothers maiden name is
Villadsen not willersen like I previously thought. Unfortunately none of
this info helps me search for them in the US. I have searched for Dora and
her sister Ida b. july 1889 for a very long time and have been unable to
find anything on them. Also, Marie esterby (gg-grandma) supposedly died in
1903 but I cant find a death cert for her in NYC. Does anyone have any
suggestions for me? thanks.
