Looking for any information on my Mothers ancestors. Her Fathers' name was John Rybak and her mothers' maiden name was Bartkowski (spelling?). She (my mother) was born in Brooklyn in 1916 and she had 2 sisters, Anastasia, b.1914 and Sophie, b.1912.

Her Mother Died when she was 4 yrs. old and my mother and her sisters were placed in an orphanage in Brooklyn, NY. I am not sure of the spelling of the orphanage, but I think it is Slyvayrles (or syvayrles) female orphan asylum.

>From there she moved to Islip, LI and eventually married Joseph Simoncic. any info would be appreciated.
