Thank you for this information, I will look into the names that you have given me. There is a Henry Hempstead that lived in Inwood and owned a clothing store. He is somehow related to my family but, I haven't found out how yet. I don't know if it is the same Henry that you have mentioned. My granduncle was recently given an original high school graduation booklet (his graduation by the way) and Henry Hempstead contributed his congradulations & mentions his business. I will e-mail you back with any details I can uncover.
