I don't know why I put the date of 1670 in my request for info -- Doxee Lane was not born till about 1760 -- he then married Mary Mathews and they lived in this Mattituck-Aquebogue Parish area -- they had a son -- Joseph born 1788 and listed in the parish records -- again I don't have the date in front of me but I do know that the parish records did have the marriage of Doxee and Mary . Thanks for getting back to me. Now that I have the date correct, maybe you can help me.
