was Deer Park? I emailed the local paper and they couldn't help, but
suggested I try the West Babylon Library . . . got no response from them!

Most Suffolk County Libraries carry Newsday on microfilm.

West Babylon is under construction, so I am not sure if they offer any look
ups, but they might still be open for a visit.

So is my Library in West Islip, but I have been able to acess the microfilm
there.

They probably have a website, try a search and see if they come up.
