Thanks so much for the info - I'll definitely look into it!! Since you replied I also found out that Anthony's dad (my grandfather's brother) Julius Liszewski might have stayed in New York from 1904-1906, before heading to St. Louis. I think this might be where he filed his Declaration of Intent (haven't found it in Missouri yet). Would you happen to know where I would write to in NY to check this out??? If not, I'll post a query to the list later.
