Hello - I also have a Terry in my family from the Amityville, Long Island, NY area. I had a ggggrandmother named Mary E Terry who was married to a Frederick A Weed; they were the parents of William Henry Weed and that is all I know of them.

William was born in 1857, so I would assume that Mary may have been born in the 1830's, if not earlier. That's all I have for info, but I am still seeking more on her and would be interested in more info about any Terry family members from the Suffolk County or Amityville/Babylon areas.
