Sorry Little Hogs Neck is not the Neck of land for New Suffolk - that is entirely different Neck. Little Hogs Neck was Nassau Point in the town of Cutchogue part of the township of Southold - Nassau Point is an area shaped like a point. There is one road across a narrow stretch of sand - all the land beyond that narrow stretch of sand is known as Nassau Point.

From Nassau Point is 8.5 miles by road to town (Cutchogue) then over 3 miles out of New Suffolk but only a short sail by boat between the different two necks. The neck of land which includes the town of New Suffolk was known as Robins Island Neck on some earlier records.

It was easier for us to go by boat to New Suffolk or Southampton then the long drive to town. I used to live on the Point.
