"Residents living around Cow Harbor Inn wait anxiously for a decision
this Tuesday that will determine whether or not the Village of Northport
must continue withholding a demolition permit from Commerce Bank.

The New Jersey-based company wants to build a banking branch at 647 Main
Street, at the intersection of Vernon Valley Road, Waterside Road and
Route 25A, which is the site of the closed Cow Harbor Inn. The original
building was erected in 1790."
