I am looking for any information on George E Doty, b
8/16/1851 in the village of Woodbury. Son of Richard
and Caroline Doty. He married Ella Place in 1878. I
found this in a book from the NY Library. Is anyone
else looking for this family? Says he owned and ran
the Centerport Hotel.
Is it still there? I guess I will do a search on the
internet for it, just thought that some others doing
research on the family might be on this list.

By the way, I am ready to pass this book on, this is a
CD in PDF.file format, copied from my copies when I
visited the NYS Library. This book covers 1032 pages
and has some illistratations.

Containing portraits and biographical sketches of
prominent and representative citizens of the County.
