Hello everyone,
I am researching my early ancestors from Long Island. The surname was spelled many different ways so I am not sure which is the most correct. The earliest ancestor I know of owned land on Hog Neck now known as North Haven, NY. It is through information from distant relatives (thank you very much all of you) that I even know that. What most of us are still trying to find out is who came before William DuVall Sr. I know he had 2 brothers: John and Benjamin. But I have no clue who his parents were or where they came from. One source says that William DuVall Sr. traced his ancestors to Southold Town on Long Island's North Fork. If anyone has information, or would like to compare information, please send me an e-mail or reply to this message.

Thank you,

Christine
