Elias 's son Garrett born 1798. He married Mary Dayton died in Penn. He is still alive in 1880. Jemima calls for his portion of the estate in Elias' estate settlement and refers to him as her son. Zadoc is eldest son born 1796. He married Mary Colton. Had several children. Joel and my Jonas born 1806 and 1809.So , I'm pretty sure Jemima is mother of the bunch. I found an Elias Reeve in 1800 Smithtown Long island. census. In same census, two Garrett families.They were royalist and eventually went to Canada. Maybe Garrett was a surname? Elias Jr. married Rachel Hammel, and then Catherine Bell. He is buried Bethseda Cemetary, West Terra Haute with Catherine and several children. David G married Francis Dickerson had several kids. Didn't live in Vigo Cty. but in Indiana. My Jonas married Martha King. Jonas died about 1856. Martha died 1886 Lived in Vigo county I don't know where they are buried. They had 11 children. Don't know anything about Polly but there is a David Kelly in!
1830 census listed next to the Reeve family. Zadoc at least is buried in the Reeve cemetary in Terra Haute. Maybe old Elias too but cemetary probably no longer exists as RosePoly Tech bought Zadoc's land. Last I heard the cemetary was grown up with trees. I think Elias born 1760-70 is grandson of Solomon and Sarah Ramsay Reeve. He named all of his children biblical names as did Elias except for Garrett which as I said maybe a surname. This probably not much to go on but Solomon had a son Zadock b.1741 who married Phoebe Tappan. Only place the name Zadoc shows up in in Reeve lines that have been researched from that part of the country. Always thought this older Zadoc who lived in Suffolk Cty. was maybe a father or uncle to Elias born 1760-1770 died 1838. Elias' Zadoc said he is from Suffolk Cty. Long Island in one census. All of the sons say they are from New York.
