Upcoming Meeting! It will be this coming Saturday at the Yonkers Public Library
- Grinton I. Will Branch, 1500 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10710.
The Westchester County Genealogical Society is please to present “Preserving
Your Family's Memories on DVD” a talk by Risa Neuwirth, President of LifeStory
Productions at their meeting on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 10am. Risa
Neuwirth brings more than 15 years’ experience in film, television, and video
production to her role as founder and president of LifeStory Productions. Ms.
Neuwirth founded her company in March 2005, inspired by a 10-year old videotaped
interview she discovered of her late mother. As Risa was so grateful to have
those memories preserved, she decided to help others to preserve their heritage in
a vivid and accessible way

FROM NEW YORK CITY: Take West Side Highway which becomes Henry Hudson
Parkway. Follow signs for Saw Mill River Parkway North. Proceed to exit 5A (which
is marked “Yonkers Palmer Road” ahead of time but is just “5A” as you exit).
Proceed through 3 traffic lights. After going through the 3rd light, cross
over the bridge and make an immediate right off the bridge (exit to Central
Park Avenue which should be labeled but is not). You are on the curving ramp
which will deposit you on Rt. 100 a.k.a. Central Park Avenue. Stay in the
extreme right-hand lane which becomes the service road, and the Grinton I. Will
Branch entrance to the parking lot is on your right just beyond the overhanging
green sign which says “Tuckahoe Road.”

FROM NORTH OF YONKERS: Saw Mill River Parkway South to Exit 287 East.
Proceed to exit for Sprain Brook Parkway South. Take Parkway South to Tuckahoe Road
Exit East. Follow Tuckahoe Road to Central Park Avenue (major intersection).
Turn right onto Central Park Avenue and drive in the far left lane to
traffic signal where you make a left into jug handle to proceed North on Central
Park Avenue. Will Library is immediately on your right.

There will be refreshments and genealogical networking starting at 9:30am.
