Hey, everyone...I was able to visit Tioga Co. in August this year and took dozens of photos at Riverside Cemetery in Apalachin (Marshland Road). My sister and I walked every inch of the cemetery and I took photos of every Short stone we saw, plus related surnames of Nichols, Foster, Beagell, Lory, Bouton, Tripp, VanRiper, Fox, and some others. (Fun trip, I also met Delores at the historical society, who posts here, too...Hi, Delores!)

You can see the photos at FindAGrave.com, search for Riverside Cemetery in Tioga Co., NY, and choose the one in Apalachin.

I also took digital photos of all the Shorts and Nichols I could find in the marriage books at the Tioga Co. Clerk's office, but haven't got them indexed or online yet...but I plan to. They cover a time span of about 1908 to 1926 or so, can't recall exactly.
