Just a thought,
Have you checked the cemetery records on Polly? Sometimes they will list a maiden name. Or, have you found an obit in an old newspaper? Possibly you might be able to also find a Will or Letter of Administration from the Tioga Town Clerk. Another idea is to try an early Town History at the Local History center or sometimes you can have good luck by tracing down their children. Hope these few suggestions will provide clues for further research. Best of Luck!

Polly and her husband William Lynch are buried at Congregational Church Cemetery in Richford. (William d. 2 May 1857).
According to her grave inscription, Polly was b. abt. 1798. Does anyone have information about her? I don't know her maiden name, her parents' names, or her place or date of birth. I would sincerely appreciate any information you have.
