Subject: NY State Archives Research Room update

The NY State Archives/NY State Library Manuscripts Division Research Room will be open today, August 7 and will close tomorrow, August 8 for the pouring of concrete on the floor directly overhead. My apologies for the confusion on this. The research room staff was only told yesterday afternoon around 4 pm and I was away and just found out this morning. This should only last one day, but please be sure to call ahead over the next few days to be sure.

This does NOT effect the NY State Library 7th floor research area. That will be open as usual.
