Janneke Burhans, born abt 1676, m Peter DuBois 12 Oct 1697, was the oldest
child of Jacob Burhans and Helena Traphagen 1655-1732. They had 12 children
that I know of. All I know of Jacob's father was that his name was Jan.

Helena Traphagen was born abt 1655 in Meppelt, Holland to Willem Jansen
Traphagen [born 1616 in Leunichor, Holland; died 1699 in Kingston, Ulster
Co, NY] and Justje Claes Groenvis, born 1630 in Meppelen, Drenth Province,
Holland, dies 1657 in New Amsterdam. They married abt 1654 in the Dutch
Reformed Church, Brooklyn, NY
