If no one is able to help you, go to the Ulster County Genealogical Society web site at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyucgs
Go to "Research Library", scroll down to Library Holdings, click on "Cemetery Records" to get an idea of the transcribed records the Society has.

You can submit a research request to the Society to check these records for your Kleis family. You might also want to check their holdings of church records, bible records, surname files, etc.

Can anyone tell me the names of the cemeteries located in and around Saugerties NY in the 1920’s? I am looking for Clara Kleis and her husband Peter Kleis. They are on the 1920 census dated Jan 12 1920 for Saugerties. Clara born abt. 1865 in Germany and died in 1920. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
