Hi Fran,

Thank you ever so much for the dates.

Especially the one for William Augustus Adams "s/o...". That identifies
him but produces a new problem. The last two names on the list are
Bedford burials -"CHI" in the Bedford Town Records.

Thanks to the unexpected dates for Nathan B. Adams, more research will be
needed. His will wasn't probated until 1903. That probably is when his wife
died. He was called Nathan Bure Adams in father's will. Was surprised to see
him buried as Nathan Burrows Adams. Most of his children are buried in
Bedford.

As to the Boutons, Ester Adams Bouton bp.1779 in CT m.NY 1798 Gould Bouton.
His first name was Gould though Gould is also a surname.
Also have Gelillye Adams b.1809 NY m. NY 1836 Edwin Bouton (1810- )

Janet

Janet: There are at least a doz. & a half Boutons, no Gould Bouton (is Gould
a first name? Got a message from someone else asking for same, but, the way
message was worded, I thought Gould was another surname he was asking
for.........either way, there aren't any Goulds) If you are interested in
the other Boutons, let me know, but, I don't have time until Monday. Adams
is shorter to do and follows:

"William Augustus, son of Nathan B. and Anna Adams died March 8,1859 ae 25
yrs. 1 mo. 9 days.

Nathan Burrows Adams died April 10, 1895 aged 85 yrs. 2 mos. 25 days

Anna, wife of Nathan B. Adams (date illegible)"

All of the above are buried in the Hoyt Burial Ground, Pound Ridge

"Burr Adams, born Jan.1, 1850 died Nov. 18,1884

Susan, wife of Hosea Adams died Sept.25,1872 ae 99 years 11 months"

Name of cemetery not given for these two. Following given:
Cemetery on Poundridge Town Line, east side of dirt road leading to Sarles
Corners, about one-half mile south of the Ambler Burying Ground. Many stone
broken and illegible.

Any Adams and the Gould Bouton family would be appreciated.
