Hello, List!

Can someone help me find the birth/baptismal record of my 2g grandfather, James Murray (sometimes found as Murry)? I need the record to identify 3g grandmother's maiden name and/or birthplace of 3g grandparents. I have contacted the town clerk at Rye and Port Chester without luck.

James Murray/Murry was born c. 1861 in Port Chester, NY. (His death record has 29 Apr 1861 as his date of birth, but death records are not always accurate.) His parents were Owen and Bridget Murray. The family was Irish Catholic. I assume that James was baptized probably in Blessed Sacrament or Our Lady of Mercy. Actually, St. Matthew's was the New Rochelle church around 1861, but I assume that Blessed Sacrament has those records. Am I wrong?

Any help, ideas or suggestions as to where to find these records will be greatly appreciated.
