I am trying to determine if the 12 Reg't Cavalry (Boughton's) New York
Militia in the War of 1812 was from Westchester County.

I am attempting to determine the parents of Augustus Hotchkiss who served in
12 Reg't Cavalry (Boughton's) New York Militia. While he was born in
Connecticut, I have reason to believe that he married Ann Tyler in South
Salem, Westchester County c1816.

It will helpful to me if I can determine if this regiment was from
Westchester County.
