Resident Court yesterday, before Captain PREECE R.M.,
Following civil cases ere disposed of, judgment being recorded in favour of the plaintiffs in all suits:
J VOISE v M HALLASSEY-claim $4 2s
J HERON v J WHEELER-claim $4
G BENJAMIN v H LORIGAN-claim $4.4s
H R RUSSELL v Manaena TINI-claim $56 8s 4d
J NAPIER v H LORIGAN-claim $2 16s 5d.
In a judgment summons, CONROY v EDMUNDS-claim $11 5s 5d, defendant ordered to pay the amount by the 23rd instant, or in default to receive 21 days' retirement with Host MILLER.

There will be no sitting of the Supreme Court today for hearing causes. His honor will pass sentence on three prisoners at 110 o'clock this morning, and the Court will then adjourn until tomorrow, when the civil case of BEGG v TYNE will be taken without a jury. On Friday the special case of NEWTON v BURKE will be commenced. On Monday PEDDLE v STEVENS, also a special jury case. It is his Honor's intention to proceed to Gisborne by the Taiaroa on Tuesday, calling on his way back to hear the three adjourned indictments for perjury, and the civil actions-
James IRVINE and Alexander DAVIDSON v ROBJOHNS, and BRADSHAW v Northern Insurance Company.
