JAMES BURDEN BROWN was born 1796 in Charlotte County, NB, and died

WILSON, daughter of ROBERT WILSON and DOLLY HOLMES.
Children of JAMES BROWN and THANKFUL WILSON are:
i.ROBERT W.3 BROWN, b. 1821, Charlotte County, NB; d. May 1870,
Campobello Island, Charlotte, NB.
ii.OLIVER B. BROWN, b. 1826, Charlotte County, NB.
iii.LUTHER BROWN, b. 1828, Charlotte County, NB.
iv.ALFRED BROWN, b. 1830, Charlotte County, NB.
I too am looking for a Luther BROWN. Mine was supposedly born in Salem, MA in
1755; was in Gorham, ME in 1790; Buxton, ME in 1800; and Parsonsfield, ME from
1806 until he died in 1850. He married Sarah (Sally) Peabody abt. 1786. I
have been looking for him for about 3 years with a lot of leads and a lot of
dead ends. Have run into many Brown families along the way but very few
Luthers. I have recently seen reference to a few new ones and will now hunt
for a connection to yours as well.
One of Luther's grandsons was named Ivory which which also appears to be an
uncommon name. Are there any Ivory Browns in your line?
Will keep you up to speed. Regards, Pete Gagne
