I may have misunderstood an abbreviation in a memo from a writer from
Pickering ,ON. I thought ON was the abbreviation for Ontario. Nevertheless,
my wife is a descendant of MARY PICKERING born in BURNLEY <LANCASHIRE ,
England of parents James and Louisa Pickering Mary was born on Sept . 26,
1900 . She was the oldest of five additional brothers. Ihave certificates on
Mary , but have nothing on her parents or her brothers Mary and her middle
daughter Arlene visited Burnley about 1950 . They visited Grandmother's house
at 33 Dreswich St . and Uncle Joe's residence at33 Rosetti Ave in Burnley .
Other uncles were Cyril , George , Arthur, and Herbert. My data is limited
Because my response has been so sporadic.I do want to thank you,Diane Hughes
for your response.
