Subject: New Evidence of Canadian Loyalist Claims - Check AMICUS site
Date: Sun, 11 Jul 2004 01:12:42 -0400
Hi Anne:
If you go to the National Archives site www.collectionscanada.ca
top right corner click on AMICUS
click on AMICUS WEB
do a NAME search Antliff, W. Bruce
His book will appear - scroll down to LOCATIONS and it will show 29
different libraries
with most showing that they will do inter-library loan.
Dewey No. 971.02/4 19
Amicus No. 5867389
ISBN No. 0774398930
There appear to be other similar books - search by TITLE instead "Loyalist
Settlements
1783-1789".
I have found this to be a great site - whenever I see or hear of a book
which might help
with my research, I check on this site and they've always been there - now
that doesn't
mean that every book is available for inter-library loan but there has only
been one book that
I haven't been able to get. Some books have arrived within a week and
others have taken
3 months or a bit longer.
