There is a great map of Saint John at
familyheritage.ca
Although it is for 1875, I don't think too much
changed by 1900 (as far as the location of the
streets).
It is an excellent resource for finding streets that
don't exist anymore especially in the Portland area
and down around Prince Edward St. where many streets
disappeared during urban renewal.
