My ggrandmother was named Winnie victoria oaks her dads name was Bill Oaks and the mothers name was Thurs Oaks not sure how her first name was spelled . Bill and Thurs were around the 1850`s and Winnie should be in the 1870`s to 1880`s Winnie married sterling gibson in 1898 in lee county VA. sterlings dad was Larkin Gibson,sterling was part cherokee. Sterling was married i was told around seven times . Henry Biggs
