hi... I am researching the family Oats from st just penwith cornwall...... james and jane Oats had 5 children...
JANE m william hicks>. mary anne, 1844 elizabeth 1846, jane rowe 1851.. jane is reported as passed in 1854..
MARGARET m Moses Oats > Jane 1836, richard.1838
james 1840, mary ann 1844, anne 1846, henry 1848, nicholas 1851 and margaretta 1854( passed at age 30?)
brothers of jane and margaret are RICHARD , NICHOLAS and JAMES all came over to australia in 1853..
margaret's son Henry married Jane Guy>>>>>richard 1871 richard thomas, thomas henry, and john born at turn 1900
also henry 's other family HENRY 1874
GEORGE 1877, MAUD 1879, NICHOLAS 1880
