I have been researching my fathers family, COOMBS. My Gt. Grandmother was Clara Emma Auber her parents were John & Elizabeth the same ones you mentioned though I have Johns' date of birth 17 June 1783 and his parents Samuel & Elizabeth but haven't traced any further back yet.
I believe Clara had a brother John George Auber born 20 June 1827.
