Hi, my name is Barbara Ober Betournay. Many years ago my parents met your parents but never kept in touch. Over the years we too become interested in finding out what we could about the Ober from Norway and thanks to Bud and Jean Ober of Iowa, we found a book of farming history that gives a lot of information.
If you are still interested, and I'd really like to share what has been found.
