ANTHONY JOHN PALERMO, 79 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Lena Maniscalco Palermo and brother Luke Palermo, Sr. Anthony is survived by and will be greatly missed by his cherished bride of 57 years Mary Ann and loving father of daughter Darlene Dichero and husband Joe, sons Anthony Joseph Palermo and wife Debbie, Dominick Palermo and wife Linda; grandchildren Vincent Anthony Romeo and wife Lindsey, Suzanne Massiatte and husband Danny, Shalana Varon and husband Galen, Mechele Horger and husband James, Anthony Roy Palermo, David Palermo, Rebecca Palermo, Alan Palermo and wife Tina, Melinda Welfel and husband John, Dominic Palermo, Tiffani Palermo; step-grandchildren Jennifer Battista and husband Derek, Jaclyn Finke and husband Michael; great-grandchildren Stella Romeo, Mason, Summer and Gabriel Massiatte, Joshua, Nathan and Zachary Varon, Alyssa, Alexis, Ashley and Allison Horger, Travis and Abigail Welfel!
, Cameron Palermo; step-great-grandchildren Luke and Mallory Battista, Grant and Madelyn Finke; sister Caroline Cook, sister-in-law Antoinette Palermo Guzzetta and husband Sam; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tony was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart Society of Little York. He was an entrepreneur who worked side by side with his wife in the several businesses they owned. Tony proudly served his country in the US Naval Reserve as a gunners mate during the Korean War era. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 10th from 5 to 8 pm for a vigil in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors, the Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 pm by the Sacred Heart Society of Little York. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Thursday, September 11th at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston,TX 77018. Rite of Christian burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are his grandsons Vincent Romeo, Alan Pal!
