Ralph Floyd Warren
(April 16, 1932 - May 10, 2009)


Ralph Floyd Warren, 77, died May 10, 2009 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born April 16, 1932 at El Dorado, Kansas, the son of Hank and Lucille (Arnall) Warren. He married Mary Lou Fox and they later divorced. He then married Janet Wickstrom Prilling April 25, 1990 at Larned, Kansas. A resident of Great Bend for more than thirty years, Mr. Warren was a former law enforcement officer for twenty years and a truck driver for thirty years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
Mr. Warren was a member of the First Assembly of God, Kansas Sheriff's Association, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Warren, of the home; one son, Lejay Warren, Dodge City, Kansas; two daughters: Lauri Skinner, Midland, Texas; and Lesli Gonzalez, Topeka, Kansas; two step-sons, Jeff Prilling, Great Bend, Kansas; and Jason Prilling, Chandler, Arizona; one step-daughter, Julie Prilling, Denver, Colorado; three sisters: Lou Dirks, Scott City, Kansas; Wilfreda "Skeet" Flowers, Denver, Colorado; and Glenna Cooley; eight grandchildren: Jason Skinner, Travis Skinner, Nicole Carver, Natalie Caro, Nachele Gonzales, Lucas Warren, Zachary Warren, and Remington Warren; one step-grandchild, Rilee Prilling; and five great-grandchildren: Julius, Makenzie, and Laila Carver; Zoii Frey; and Ryley Skinner. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one infant son, Aaron Vaught.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Bryant Funeral Home with Mr. George Shelton officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
