In the Perry County IL 1860 Federal Census it shows:
J. [Joseph?] OGBORN as 49 born ca 1811 in MD grocer
Sarah OGBORN as 35 born ca 1825 OH
Lafayette OGBORN (my gggrandfather) as 17 born ca 1843 OH
John OGBORN as 15 born ca 1845 OH
Lydia OGBORN as 12 born ca 1848 OH

Lafayette or Lafe married Gertrude Emma NORTON b. 22 Mar 1841 Carrollton, IL
[she was a singer who went by the stage name of Lady Alzina of Kent, that was
all I had to go on when I started my research, it turned out to be her
mother's middle name Emma Alzina Eldred] They lived in DuQuoin, IL where he
had a bakery and had 2 daughters:
Mary Louise (Mamie) who married Edward B. NORTON (no relation) in Beatrice
Nebraska then moved to St. Louis and _ RUSH in St. Louis then moved to Los
Angeles.
and my ggrandmother Alice Bell OGBORN MAHER b. 16 May1871 m. Albert MAHER in
St. Louis.

I'd love to know Sarah's maiden name and where in Ohio they were from and
what family J[oseph] was from.

I'd appreciate any help.
