Any information on Samuel OGDEN, born in England about 1819. He was a
saloon-keeper in Peoria, IL, in 1860. He was married to Martha (nee COOPER)
Ogden, who was born in about 1833 in Virginia.

By 1860, they were in Peoria, IL, with their 2 children: Mary E. Ogden (born
about 1858) and Peter S. Ogden (born about 1860). Their son, James Washington
Ogden, was born in Peoria, IL, in about 1862.

James Washington Ogden married Etta HEDGES in Peoria, IL, on November 18,
1893. They had several childen: Hannah, born about 1894-1895; Fern, Sue, Lou
(female), Edith (later married a Malinski in Chicago), Mabel, and a brother,
Silas Lee "Lee" Ogden.
