Hi Members,
A friend of mine just sent me this and thought I would share it with
you.
I just learned something new--maybe you already know this. In
my FTM Magazine this month it tells that when Pope Gregory XIII created
the
Gregorian Calander (which we use now) There was a ten day difference
from
the Julian Calander. When the change was made many people moved their
birthdates up eleven days to reflect the change and used a double date
such
as 1718/19. Their birth certificates did not reflect the change. Maybe
this explains the discrepencies we find with dates!
