My ggreat grandmother, Margaret E McGary was married at 15 years of age in July of 1874 to James Crooks. It states on their marriage license that the parents gave their consent because they were under aged. Can anyone tell me if there are any other records that could be requested to show what Margarets parents' names are, or where she was born? Also, their daughter was born in Jan of 1875 and she filed for divorce in 1877. I received documents from the state pretty much just stating the facts without any other info. Does anyone have any insight into how I could find out about her parents, where she was born, etc? Even her death certificate just shows the date she died, March 9, 1897 of typhoid fever in Pease Twp. That is it. Not even where she was buried? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.
