I am looking for my g-grandfather and gg-grandfather's burial places in
Mahoning Ohio. My g-grandfather, John Henry WERTZ born 7 Feb 1858 is
reported to have died 25 May 1907 in Paradise, Mahoning, OH. Nice place to
die :*) My gg-grandfather, Adam WERTZ born 1827, is reported to have died
possibly in Mahoning, OH. I believe that would have been sometime after
1900 as he was located in the 1900 census in Canfield Mahoning Census. My
gg-grandmother, Elizabeth WERTZ born 1827, would also have died sometime
after 1900. I had difficulty finding them on the 1910 census but have some
possibilities that they could have been alive then, but assume they would
have died in Canfield since they had been there since at least 1870. John
Henry also had a brother, Gottlieb WERTZ born in 1864 who may have died in
Ohio as well. I have a list of Canfield cemeteries, but does anyone have a
list of who is buried there before I write to them?
