Sherry, I can't thank you enough for trying. Are you, or is someone you
know, familiar with what was going on in Belmont and Claremont Counties
in Ohio during the period 1818 through 1820?

My Solomon Whidden filed a Revolutionary War pension application in
Belmont County in 1818, and refiled again in Claremont County in 1820.
Solomon's home was in Maine as was all of his family so far as I know,
and I'm trying to find out what in the world Solomon was doing in Ohio at
66 years of age.
