Kathie,
In the 1850 census she and Eleazer both show born in NY and there
is only one page difference between the Church family and the
Augustus Goldwood. Note below (the 1880 census) it DOES show
both his and her parents place of birth - Eleazer shows he and
parents born NY - Rebecca is born NY and father CAN and mother
Germany. Does that help solve the question? *grin* Look again
at the 1880 listing below for Eleazer and Rebecca and see if that
fits.

I don't know if she was born in NY, not having found her for sure
I don't
know, in 1880 it does not list her parents birth places. In 1920
it just has
United States, not much help :)
