I say, we take the first 6 or 7 suggestions and then let everyone
vote. I'm
afraid secret ballots are kind of out of the question, unless our
"Lady of
NARA" Nancy would accept personal e-mails and take a tally ?

Let's make this a 4-day thing. Some of our subscribers don't
check in until
the weekend.

A little background on the "Skippy" thing. When I was a kid, I
always
wanted a nickname. My cousins were "Mike", "Dick", "Bobby", but
you can't
get a nickname out of "Neal". Try saying "Ne" or "Eal", just not
a
dignified to call someone, and since we lived in Chicago, "Al"
was out of
the question, too Capone-like for comfort.

When I was a Genealogical Librarian, I came into the department
on days off
to do my own genealogy and lookups. I signed the register
"Skippy" Gardner,
Neal's evil twin. For all you newbies, I pride myself on my
wacky way of
looking at things, and my sense of fun. I'm also a former actor
whose "15
minutes of fame" came in the 70s doing those 501 Jeans
commercials. I've
done over 100 musical productions and as many dramas and comedies
from the
time I was 4 years old. 15 years of voice lessons and about 8
years of
dance, I am now (since February) the List Administrator for
OH-CENSUS-LOOKUP. Soooooooo......I have to do a little "cutting
up" on the
list now and then.

OK, I'll shut up now.
