have been an older brother that I was unaware of.

Nothing came up on Ancestry for any Hayward in Monroe County including the
soundex.

There was one David Hayward age 14, in Clermont County :
Hayward, David
State:Ohio Year:1850
County: Clermont Roll: M432_667
Township:Wayne Twp Page: 86
