Hi Betty,
I tried another search for Henry, using just MEYER without the 'S' on the
end. I found 3 possibilities in Hamilton county, because they are all
single and close to your Henry's age.

I found a Henry Meyer, age 28, chairmaker, born Germany living in the home of
Benjamin & Agnes Snooks living in the 4th Ward which is in the city. There
was also a Fred Meyer, age 23, born Germany and John Meyer, age 21, born
Germany, both also chairmakers living there too.
Did Henry come to America with any brothers?

In St. Orrs Twp. there was a Henry Meyer, age 32, laborer, born Germany
living in the home of William Bruce? or Brice?, age 32, teamster born Germany

This next one may be closer to what you're looking for.

I found a Henry Meyer, age 26, laborer, born in Switzerland,

living in the home of:
Asbury Searles, 41, President of Insurance company, born in N. Jersey
Rachel Searles, 41, born in Mass.
Wm. H. Searles, 13, born in Ohio
Mary Davis, 16, born in Wales

Here's the index entry:
